Allana Ferguson bio
Allana was chosen to play for Australia during the Rugby Sevens 2013, but subsequent knee injuries kept her off the field. It took several years for Allana to re-enter the rugby league. Allana was the first woman to play in a match in the 2015 season of rugby league and starred in the game for New South Wales when they played Queensland. The radio show Allana has been on has increased by the time she has been a regular guest on the 2GB Continuous Call Team, a top-rated show. Outside of sport Allana is also a fully qualified educator. Allana Ferguson has the unique distinction of having represented Australia in three sports that include Rugby sevens (rugby league) along with touch, and also the union of rugby. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos footballer and rugby league player of Australia's Jillaroos team, was forced to come to an early end to her professional career as a player after she tore her ACL on a 4th occasion. She had torn the ligament in the same knee when she was a teenager and a 20-year-old and after a fourth tear this meant that Ferguson's playing time was over. Ferguson is JILLAROOS's player who was forced to step down earlier due to a fourth tear to the ACL of her left. The injury was sustained in training back in November, Ferguson, who has been an icon of the women's league over many seasons, reported the report this week in The Courier Mail.
