Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is a famous American actor and producer. She has been recognized for her stellar performances in films including Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Piano, as well as The Incredibles. She has won many awards for her performance and has even won an Oscar. The path to acting began in Broadway by performing in a range of Broadway as well as Off Broadway projects. Since her childhood, she performed Helen Keller in a play during the 5th grade. Mumps made her lose hearing in one her ears, but this was not enough to stop the actress from pursuing her dream. In college she studied theatre and then moved from Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania, to New York City in pursuit of her dream. She met Beth Henley in an elevator and the pair collaborated to make Broadway Crimes of the Heart, Hunter's first film. After that, she made the move to Los Angeles and tried to land movie roles. In Swing Shift, she landed a role as a support. Since then, she has appeared in several films, TV series and films over the course of a 30-year career. Holly Hunter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and she also received the Women in Film Lucy Award.
